A.O.B

The club are proud to announce they have been awarded the Charter Standard Award which is the highest award the FA gives out. It is in recognition of a well run club which has appropriate rules and procedures.
An announcement will go in the paper around the 5 August when a representative from the FA is available.
It is now important that the club uphold these standards and reputation. Spectator behaviour and treatment of referees are key issues to uphold.

It was advised that the club had entered into a 3 year sponsorship with Citreon. The U7 team will have a kit sponsored by Broach Hill Garage and any new kits will have the Citreon logo on the right hand side of the shirt.

Lastly N Haynes thanked A Stabler at the Driffield Times for his excellent sports coverage over the last season. The 8 page tournament pullout was especially appreciated. Andy also helped with gaining the sponsorship with Broach Hill.

Achievement Award

Previously the award had gone to an individual. This year it was to be awarded to R Beston and G Deverson and their U14 team and parents for their continued support to the club especially during fundraising events. R Beston thanked the committee.

Martin Burniston thanked D Stead and his wife Karen for all their hard work during his time on the committee.
